Full Job Description

The Direct PRP Worker works in the community, home, and office-based settings with individuals suffering from mental health and substance abuse challenges. Individualized services are provided based on a specific client needs assessment. This is an entry level job into the mental health field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING

  • Complete assessment on clients' social, emotional, financial, health, or other problems to develop a rehabilitation treatment plan
  • Provide a minimum of 6 or 4 hours of direct service, per client, per month
  • Develop and implement a treatment plan with the client
  • Help clients resolve problems, identify resources and make effective use of resources
  • Organize and conduct psycho-educational groups
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other agency staff and local service providers to promote coordination and integration of care
  • Teach clients independence and self-advocacy
  • Prepare and maintain written case records, reports, notes and other documentation in ICNotes
  • Perform administrative tasks as required
  • Participate in and complete all required training
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a health-related field Preferred
  • 2 years of work experience in a Mental Health setting
  • 2 years experience note writing skills in ICANotes
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must successfully pass all background screening required by the state
  • Completed CPR/First Aid training
  • Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Reliable transportation and auto insurance that complies with the minimum state requirements
  • Ability to travel locally
  • Attend mandatory weekly and monthly meetings as required by the agency

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • PRP: 1 year (Required)
  • ICANotes: (A plus)
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365:

License/Certification:

  • Maryland Driver's License (Required)

Work Location: Single and Multiple locations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

All staff/residential clients are required to get COVID testing to assure the safety of everyone.
