Dive into an exhilarating opportunity as a full-time Sewer Laborer - Excavator with Capps Plumbing & Sewer, Inc. in the vibrant setting of Wheeling, IL.

THE BASICS:

Pay: This role offers an hourly rate of $30 to $35/hour.

Benefits: We also offer amazing benefits such as health insurance (we cover half), dental and vision insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and a 401(k) with a company match. This position also receives a company phone, company-provided uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), a company-provided truck, equipment, and weekly payroll checks.

Schedule: Experience the rhythm of your workweek as you work with a 2 - 4 man crew Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. There will be some on-call as well.

WHAT DO YOU NEED:

  • Valid driver's license
  • 2+ years of experience in sewer and water excavations
  • Ability to use and maintain shoring for optimal results
  • Knowledge of common trade tools
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

OSHA certification is a plus

YOUR DAY:

You work with a proficient crew every day. With your crew, you'll navigate through residential and commercial excavations, emphasizing precision and efficiency. Responsibilities include maintaining machinery and equipment, troubleshooting challenges, and prioritizing safety protocols. Your daily journey transforms plumbing projects into triumphant endeavors, making this role more than just a job-it's a celebration of excellence.
