Plant Operator Classification Description:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for arrive 30 minutes before start up time and do a pre-shift inspection. Monitor the load on all equipment. Watch plant for any kind of problems. Work closely with crusher foremen and lead person to ensure efficient plant operation and production of materials that meet customer requirement. Support of all safety and health related policies and programs to promote safety as a core value of Granite Mountain Quarries. Support the mission of Granite Mountain Quarries to be better than compliant and to be committed to a safety culture that eliminates harm to persons, environment, property, and integrity.
Basic Requirements:
Are you currently employed with Granite Mountain Quarries?
Do you have experience doing maintenance or service work (quarry or non-quarry)?
Are you willing to work up to a 12-hour shift and additional overtime and weekends if necessary?
Are you willing and able to climb ladder or stairs to navigate plant?
Are you willing and able to perform plant pre-shift inspections at the beginning of each shift?
Are you willing and able to perform the basic qualifications identified in the job description for Plant Operator?
