• Pay: 17.85
• 2nd shift
• Hours: 2p-10p M-F
• Mandatory OT (sometimes)
• Bonus for great attendance and performance
• Steel toe shoes required

OBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITION
The Material Handler of finished goods works in in the shipping department. This position is in a fast-paced environment. The main responsibilities are to palletize orders and prepare the finished goods for shipping according work instructions. The goal of this position is to ensure all finished goods leaving the facility are 100% correct before reaching the customer. The Material Handler works closely with the warehouse team leader and quality control to ensure the process is flowing correctly.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

• Post production review of orders entering the warehouse.
• Read work orders to identify customer shipping & packaging specifications.
• Transport materials to and from storage via forklift, pallet jack, carts and/or other devices.
• Ensure finished goods are properly wrapped and palletized with final master load tag.
• Locate finished goods pallets to proper area in the warehouse.
• Assist in loading trucks with finished goods and scrap.
• Carry out assignments in a timely and safe manner, to meet customer deadlines.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with OSHA and company policy in work area(s).
• Keeps the work flow process moving at a fast and steady pace.
• Maintain warehouse to a high level of organization.
• Participate in lean manufacturing events as required.
