- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing outdoor lighting systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
- General Handyman Tasks: Conduct related handyman tasks as needed, including minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs to support the overall outdoor lighting projects.
- Electrical Work: Safely handle electrical wiring, connections, and installations in compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Site Assessment: Assess job sites to determine the best lighting solutions, identify potential installation challenges, and propose appropriate remedies.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with the completed work.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed, including installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Experience: Proven experience in handyman services, including outdoor lighting installation, electrical work, and general home maintenance.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certification in electrical work or general handyman services is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficient in basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- General handyman skills, including carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders or scaffolding.
Work Environment:
- The role involves working outdoors at various residential and commercial locations.
- Exposure to different weather conditions and varying job site environments.
