Location: Central Oregon
Hours: Full and part-time available; a combination of standby weekdays and weekend nights between 5 pm and 8 am.
Travel: Local/regional travel by personal vehicle during the working day, centralized from the Bend office and extending throughout Central Oregon. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
Compensation:
- Flat Shift Rate or Standby Pay of $15 per hour based on hours worked.
- Base Pay-$40 to $58.67 (DOE) When called to provide patient care.
- Differentials-$2 for Weekend Shift and $5 for the Night Shift.
- Sign-on Bonus: $4,000 paid after 90 days of employment.
- Assess patients and families to determine health needs.
- Coordinate patient care with RN Case Managers.
- Provide physical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Administer medications and comfort procedures.
- Educate patients and families on healthcare instructions.
- Communicate with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Valid Oregon RN License.
- Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- One to two years of recent medical care experience in an institutional setting is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of home health or hospice experience.
- Current automobile insurance is required. A valid Oregon drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Compassion, empathy, and dedication to patient care.
