High-Quality Preschool located in Millburg is currently looking for Associate Teachers serving classrooms with children ages 3-5 for our next Program year (August 2024 - May 2025).

Position Summary:
Assists teacher in instructing preschool children and organizing the classroom based on developmentally appropriate practices. Assists with implementing curriculum, on-going assessment, observation, and child outcomes systems consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards. Works as a partner with families in the health and education of their children. Responsible for classroom daily required cleaning and daily food preparation.

Education Requirement:
Minimum: High School Diploma/GED- must be able to obtain Preschool CDA within two years of hire
Desired: Preschool CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education

Related Experience:
Minimum: Must be 18 years or older. One-year related experience preferred
Desired: Two years related experience

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly, next Program year (End of July 2024 - May 2025),

Expected Schedule: Monday - Friday, Hours: 8:00a-4:30p

Rate of Pay: Base: $15.21 /hr CDA: $15.53 /hr AA: $17.39 /hr

Pre-Employment Requirements: Physical, TB Test, Background Check and Drug Screen
