Are you a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) seeking an exciting opportunity in the field of home health? Millennium Home Care, a leading provider of healthcare services, is searching for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant. Responsibilities:

- Assist the Occupational Therapist in conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine their functional limitations and goals.

- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist in developing personalized treatment plans based on patients' individual needs and goals.

- Provide hands-on therapy to patients in their homes, assisting them in improving their functional abilities and achieving a higher level of independence.

- Guide patients and their families on adaptive equipment, techniques, and exercises to enhance their quality of life.

- Work closely with the Occupational Therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.

- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.

- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in occupational therapy.

- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Valid license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in the state of Florida.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

- Solid understanding of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Ability to work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist and assist in delivering therapy services.

- Proficiency in documenting patient progress and treatment plans using electronic medical records (EMR).

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes.
