Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team in Bellwood, IL. The Test Technician will primarily be responsible for utilizing lasers of various wavelengths to assess the diffraction efficiency of our acousto-optic devices. In addition to conducting tests, the ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) for reporting test results. Safety adherence while handling lasers is paramount in this role, and the candidate must demonstrate strict compliance with safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:


  1. Conduct tests on acousto-optic devices using lasers of various wavelengths to evaluate diffraction efficiency.

Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in a relevant field preferred.

  4. Strong commitment to following safety protocols and procedures, especially in laser usage.
