SeamonWhiteside is in search of an ambitious and talented professional to serve as a Land Planner I in a fast-paced environment in our growing Mount Pleasant, SC Office.


SW+ is seeking a Land Planner I with 0-2 years’ experience of professional experience in a design office, post-graduation. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation (planning, modelling, construction knowledge) and a positive attitude toward involvement on a wide range of projects. The position requires working closely with a team of landscape architects and civil engineers on multiple projects on a variety of scales throughout South Carolina. The successful candidate must be a leader, self-starter, mature, organized, flexible, possess a strong work ethic and the desire to succeed.

Requirements:


Portfolio: Must be submitted along with a resume


Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture

Experience:

  • 0 - 2 years’ experience in a professional design office


Desired Skills:

  • Exceptional AutoCAD technical drawing and digital production skills
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering skills (Lumion, Sketchup, or similar preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Proven experience with construction detailing and construction documentation
  • Exceptional graphic presentation skills including hand drawing and high-quality illustrations
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Interpersonal skills – ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels
  • Creative design sensibilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of horticulture and regional plant material.
