Join Our Team as a Junior Accountant – Best Cheer Stone

Are you a recent graduate with a degree in Accounting and looking to kickstart your career in finance? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while working alongside seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Corporate Accountant with day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting Department.
• Process and record accounts payable transactions accurately and in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage cash receipts, revenue recording, and receivables reconciliation in collaboration with the Development Team.
• Review expense coding for grant compliance and tag eligible costs, including AP, AMEX, and staff expenses.
• Process AMEX expense reports and receipts submitted by cardholders on a monthly basis.
• Perform expense allocations, monthly accruals, and journal entries as needed.
• Prepare and analyze monthly budget/forecast variance reports.
• Conduct general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including financial statements and budget performance analysis.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in record-keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to stay current with developments and trends.
• Familiarity with relevant information technology and systems.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
