Summary:

The Wholesale Parts Advisor is responsible for selling and stocking of automotive parts. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1-3 years automotive parts experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Representing Underriner Automotive and our brands as a parts and accessories wholesaler.
  • Selling obsolescence parts online.
  • Places special orders for parts.
  • Reads appropriate manuals to ascertain type and specification of part.
  • Provides pricing and product information to customers.
  • Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs in the shop.
  • Establish strong relationships and work with vendors to locate and order parts.
  • Receive and inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Orders out-of-stock parts requested by customers.
  • Assists in taking inventory.
  • Meets departmental production and profitability goals.
  • Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above dealership standards.
  • Answers telephone promptly and consistent with dealership guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for purchased and/or returned parts.
  • Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency.
  • Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings.
  • Complete required company and safety training/
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts, past work with auto body parts a plus.
  • Ability to solve problems and create solutions.
  • Computer Skills that include ability to navigate multiple computer programs at the same time.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Work well with others to achieve common goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Must know how to sell online using different platforms.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction results.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Submit to and successfully complete MVR and background check.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • Some heavy lifting required.
