Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join our team in Pearland, TX. The ideal candidate will have recently graduated from an accredited law school and is passionate about pursuing a career in [areas of law, e.g., litigation, corporate law, etc.]. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills to gain valuable experience and grow within a collaborative and supportive environment.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
  2. Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and mediation
  3. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence.
  4. Assist with case management tasks, including document review, discovery, and trial preparation.
  5. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders professionally and courteously.
  6. Interview clients and witnesses to gather information and evidence.
  7. Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings under the supervision of senior attorneys
  8. Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
  9. Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the firm's practice areas.
  10. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance legal skills and knowledge
  11. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility to waive in.
  3. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  7. Familiarity with family law procedures and principles (minimum 5 years experience required)
  8. Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and professionalism.
