Articularis Healthcare Group (AHG) is currently seeking a PRN Infusion Nurse - RN to play an integral role in our Summerville, SC practice. The long-term schedule will include Saturday's and weekdays as desired.

The Position:

You will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner. The individual must be enthusiastic about patient care and have the ability to handle varied personalities and personal situations.

As an Infusion Nurse - RN (Floater) you will be responsible for:

• Assessing the patient's health as well as detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and will need to know when action is necessary.
• Providing clinical infusion services, and:
- Obtaining vital signs.
- Insertions and discontinuations of peripheral intravenous catheter.
- Mixing/monitoring of medications, administering premeds and administering medications in response to changes in patient’s condition.
• Reviewing diagnostic as well as laboratory data and report abnormal results to treating physician and/or other healthcare provider.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record in a accurate timely fashion.
• Assisting with drug inventory management-daily inventory, ordering, monitoring of refrigerator temperatures.
• Maintaining strictest HIPPA confidentiality.
• Able to work at all local Practice locations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Travel as required by the position.

This job might be for you if:

• You have an Associates Degree.
• You have an active compact RN license.
• 2 years’ experience working in a healthcare facility.
• 1 years’ experience working with medical payers including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance.
• 6 months experience inserting IV’s.
• Working knowledge of electronic medical record systems and coding practices.
• Excellent organizational skills.
