Why This Role is Exciting: As an Electrical Field Service Scheduler at BHS Corrugated North America, you’ll play a crucial role in orchestrating our field service operations. Your expertise will help streamline the scheduling and coordination of our Electrical Field Service Technicians, ensuring that every job is set up for success and every customer receives exceptional service.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Smart Scheduling: Match the right Electrical FST with customer needs based on detailed descriptions from emails, phone calls, service notifications, and cloud tickets. Collaborate with the FS Coordinator Assistant to handle administrative tasks like quotes, purchase orders, timesheets, and service reports seamlessly.
Meticulous Documentation: Keep thorough and accurate records for each field service request, ensuring all details are meticulously documented and updated.
Resource Coordination: Assess each service request to confirm if additional support from Helpdesk or engineering is needed. Ensure that technicians have all the essential tools, software, and equipment for successful job execution.
Dynamic Adaptability: Respond to rapid changes in scheduling to keep technicians efficiently deployed in the field while balancing their work-life needs.
Insightful Analysis: Evaluate scheduling and workflow to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Customer-Focused Support: Handle daily customer requests, including scheduling, emergency adjustments, and rescheduling, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and professionally.
Proactive Problem-Solving: Quickly address scheduling conflicts and emergency cancellations. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate customer requirements and minimize disruptions.
Effective Communication: Maintain regular communication with the Electrical Field Service Supervisor to keep them informed about customer escalations and service technician issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least three years in Maintenance Scheduling/Planning or as a Field Service Dispatcher.
- Skills: Strong communication and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Customer Service: A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling software.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks.
