Privately owned animal hospital looking to add another veterinary receptionist to our staff. We have been AAHA accredited since 1994. Our doctors treat dogs and cats and we see anything from routine appointments to orthopedic surgeries. We have four full time doctors and are in need of more support staff Applicant must be able to work mornings, evenings and Saturdays. We are open Monday-Friday 8:30am-6pm and Saturdays from 8:30am-2pm. Looking for someone with an upbeat attitude who can make clients and their pets feel welcome from the moment the step in the door Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred and knowledge of Pulse (eVetPractice) is a plus. We have a hard working and fun team here who see the importance of offering compassionate and up to date veterinary care and are looking to add individuals who share our vision

Job duties include but not limited to:

1. Perform clerical work with speed and accuracy
2. Use a multiple telephone line system
3. Greet clients graciously and recognize the responsibilities involved in responding to clients questions
4. Record keeping
5. Understand and carry out oral and written directions
6. Proficiently handle all forms of monies
7. Maintain a neat professional appearance
8. Maintain a harmonious and cooperative relationship with those contacted in the course of work.
9. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
10. Ability to move quickly from reception to treatment area when moving appointments into rooms.
11. Manage online pharmacy requests
12. Speak clear English, bilingual is a plus
13. Communicate with clients and staff in a productive manner
