About Pioneer Church
Pioneer Started in 2022 in a Coffee Shop downtown Ludington. The mission of PC is to build a Christ Centered Community to witness people’s homecoming (Luke 15) back into the family of God. It's important to the church to build an environment that makes it simple for people to connect with Jesus and others.
Two years later the church outgrew the coffee shop and moved into a local Christian School gym. As the church sees God opening doors and moving within the church. Pioneer Church doen’t want to hold back Doing the very best with the great commission Pioneer Church is pushing forward, taking risks, and taking ground for the kingdom.
PC culture is a really fun one The church has lots of young families in it. Often on Sundays one can find large groups of children roaming about. Pioneer Church is really focused on three things:
- Building a Sunday morning culture people can belong to & connect with
- Move the crowd into groups. (homegroups & discipleship)
- Do outreach Find ways to meet our community where they are.
About the Position
Pioneer Church is looking for a part-time worship leader to help develop a culture of worship here at PC. Some skills & qualities Pioneer Church is looking for are:
- Strong lead voice
- Able to play Guitar
- Humble & Teachable
- Understanding of set-up & tear down for Sunday morning. (we do this every week)
- Multitracks & Playback
- Can help others on worship team improve & develop skills
- Can have fun during worship
Pioneer Church currently does have 1 part time worship leader so one will be working together & pastor to develop the worship team & build Sunday morning
Understanding this is a part time position, the pastor's family owns a coffee shop and is willing to offer hours up to the worship leader to make some extra money if they desire.
About the person
Here at PC, Pioneer Church treat each other like family, often times Pioneer Church is hanging out at the homes together, getting coffee, or heading to the beach as a group.So idealy one enjoys community and building meaningful relationships
Yes Pioneer Church is looking for someone who has the skills to do the job but more than that Pioneer Church is looking for someone who is called. One will really fit in if one is:

About Ludington
Ludington is located on the west side of Michigan right on the Lake Michigan coast. Ludington has one of the most beautiful beaches one will ever see So if one enjoys sunset, walks, or volleyball on the beach then this is the place. Ludington has mainly been a tourist town with population swelling in the summer then dropping off in the winter but has been growing its year round residence lately. With very low crime, great schools, and lots of outdoor activities Ludington is also a wonderful place for families. Pioneer Church truly believes this is one of the best places in the world to live
