Join Our Team as an Electrical/Mechanical Lead in Council Bluffs, IA

We are looking for a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Lead to join our team at Direct Companies located in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Job Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical and mechanical projects, managing teams of technicians, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. You will be the main point of contact for clients, providing them with exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of technicians, allocating tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
  • Oversee electrical and mechanical projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide professional recommendations and solutions
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, material usage, and any changes or deviations from original plans
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during projects
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and trends to provide innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure smooth project execution

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical systems installation and maintenance
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical codes, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and find effective solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Proficiency in using electrical and mechanical tools and equipment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary
