Our law firm has a full-time litigation and business associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates on legal issues and will assist in providing legal counsel to existing clients.


You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, answering discovery, attending court hearings and case management conferences, and keeping client files up to date. Compensation:

$75,000+ yearly

Responsibilities:

Case Strategy and Management

  • Analyze legal issues, conduct legal research, and provide guidance to junior attorneys on case development.
  • Collaborate with clients to define legal objectives and align case strategies with their goals.


Client Representation

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, motions, depositions, and trials.
  • Prepare and present persuasive legal arguments to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide regular updates on case progress and developments.


Legal Research and Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth legal research on complex issues.
  • Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to support legal arguments and strategies.
  • Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other case-related documents.


Legal Drafting:

  • Prepare clear and concise legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and briefs.
  • Draft contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal instruments tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and effective legal drafting.


Depositions and Discovery:

  • Attend depositions of witnesses and opposing parties.
  • Prepare and conduct depositions, including formulating strategic questioning and examining witnesses.
  • Review and analyze deposition transcripts to inform case strategy.
  • Draft discovery answers


Case Documentation and Management

  • Prepare, review, and manage legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and court filings.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and records using case management software.
  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines and requirements.
  • Attend all necessary court hearings.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 Years of Litigation Experience, preferred.
  • NJ Bar license required.
