Logistician II

The Logistician II is responsible for providing logistics support for electronic systems, including logistics management principles, practices, and processes. The role involves analyzing engineering/systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures, and supporting C4ISR or similar systems.

Specific Duties:

• Provide MILSPEC Packaging, Handling, Shipping, and Transportation (PHS&T) for all material in accordance with NAVSUP P723, OPNAVINST 4030.1A, and System Specific Addendums.
• Provide warehouse operations support including shipping and receiving, inventory management, tagging and labeling, Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV), Electronic Retrograde Management System (eRMS), and CMPRO database maintenance.
• Perform inventory demand management analysis to determine minimum and maximum levels of Ready for Issue (RFI) spares.
• Provide commercial material transportation support and local material delivery to government and military locations.
• Transmit Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Document Identifier Code (DIC) transactions for requisitions that cannot be filled within specified timeframes.
• Process all Navy Working Capital Fund – Supply Management (NWCF-SM) requisitions, inventory management, and repair actions in Web-Based CAV, Integrated Logistics Support Management Information System (ILSMIS), and CMPRO databases.
• Manage NAVSUP inventory in accordance with NAVSUP P-723, Inventory Integrity Standards, and NAVSUP Internal Control Aids (ICA)/Lines of Effort (LOE) procedures.

Experience Requirements:

• Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics principles, practices, and processes.
• At least one (1) year of support with C4ISR or similar systems, including analyzing engineering/systems management data and developing logistics plans and procedures.
