We are seeking a Junior Accountant to maintain and compile financial reports and statements in compliance with government regulations and requirements at Intelmatix. We are a leading deep-tech Artificial intelligence (AI) company founded in July 2021 by a group of MIT scientists with the vision of transforming enterprises into cognitive ones. 


Intelmatix has established a global presence with three strategically located offices. These offices are situated in Riyadh, London, and Boston, enabling the company to operate internationally and collaborate with diverse businesses worldwide.


As the driving force behind our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining precise financial records, aiding in financial reporting, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze balance sheets, manage general ledger accounts, update financial statements, maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable, and prepare financial reports as needed. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining and organizing general ledger accounts, and drafting journal entries
  • Reconcile bank statements to guarantee the accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Monitor financial data to identify inconsistencies or irregularities, and conduct analyses accordingly
  • Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborate with finance team members to enhance processes and efficiency
  • Assist with audits and other financial reviews 
  • Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting roles
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Meticulous attention to details
