Blue Rose is seeking a Lead Network Architect to support our work with a federal client. This is a Hybrid Role in Washington, DC and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Public Trust Clearance prior to start.

In this role you will:

  • Design, deliver, and adopt Software defined networks (WAN, LAN, WLAN, Cloud) utilizing SaaS, IaaS, UCaaS in cloud and hybrid cloud environments - Advanced Routing, Network Security; UCaaS includes Video Interviews, integration of voice, video, and data in support of contact centers.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an Enterprise Architect specializing in network infrastructure services including a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud technologies such as but not limited to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience designing critical network infrastructure for a large/complex network.
  • Experience with Enterprise infrastructure and network automation platforms and coding.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions that increase the availability and security of the enterprise.
  • Experience in developing technology roadmaps.
  • Working knowledge of network technologies. (SDN, SDWAN, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, application load balancing, network visibility.)
  • Working knowledge of network practices, and protocols.
  • Proven experience with on premise physical infrastructure and Virtualization technologies
  • Knowledge of Enterprise route optimization, dynamic routing, packet aggregation, IPV6, and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
  • Working knowledge of networking and security methods and tools.
  • Experience performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems at a SME level.
  • Expertise with major networking products from companies similar to Cisco, Juniper and VMWare delivered via major cloud providers.
  • Experience with managing and using DevOps concepts.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Certification:

  • CCIE that has been obtained within the last five years.

Salary: $175,000 to $190,000, Dependent on Experience
