Title of Position: Chef de Cuisine

Job Description:The Chef de Cuisine isresponsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the kitchen and food production outlets. The Chef de Cuisinemay serve on the propertys executive committee. The Chef de Cuisine will ensure guest satisfaction by effectively running the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, maintaining control of the standards for purchasing and receiving items, and working closely with the store room manager and food and beverage controller to establish and maintain control of the standards for purchasing and receiving items. The Chef de Cuisine will need to create recipes and production methods, compile new banquet menus, and inspectallfood service functions during service to ensure that the correct standards are maintained. The Chef de Cuisine will need to maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international market trends and competitors food production/offering.The Chef de Cuisinewill lead and develop the careers of the culinary staff and assist in the promotion ofin-housesales activities, such as culinary festivals, chef specialties and culinary competitions.

Salary: $68K-$72K + $5K BonusPotential and Relocation Assistance

Qualifications:

The Chef de Cuisineshould have a high school diploma or GED with a Culinary degree or a minimum of five years of industry experience

The Chef de Cuisine must be able to manage and motivate others while acting as a role model

The Chef de Cuisine must have proven success in controlling of costs associated with running a profitable business such as food, labor and beverage

Trust, honesty, integrity and a passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the Chef de Cuisine
