Skilled in staff supervision, curriculum development, parent communication, and regulatory compliance. Committed to fostering a collaborative and positive atmosphere among staff, children, and families to promote optimal child development and learning.

Duties

  • Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers as needed during their absence.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state requirements; implement improvements where needed.
  • Maintain communication with families and community through appropriate outreach activities.
  • Follow all center policies and state regulations.
  • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.


Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Proven Experience in a leadership Role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of child development.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Are able to pass a background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Possess one of the following: a CDA, a TCC in early childhood education specialties, a Technical College Diploma (TCD), or any college degree in ECE or Child Development
