Job Summary
This career is perfect for animal lovers willing to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families. Our groomers are responsible for full-service grooming of pets; bath, haircut, and everything in between. This role that will engage with clients through the services provided, so it's important the groomer is a clear communicator, professional, and customer centric. We develop a close and special bond with every pet as well as the families, so being comfortable building relationships is important. Our groomers need to have previous grooming experience, a clean driving record, and be able to work independently without direct supervision. Pet handling skills are also beneficial, as we will train you to safely handle pets for their benefit and yours. Customer service support is managed at the office: scheduling, routing, pricing, and questions. Our groomers focus on the most important role- professional grooming service for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess pet's skin and coat, identifying health issues and advising pet owners accordingly
  • Clear communication with client regarding services, pricing, and delays
  • Use gentle handling techniques and monitoring for signs of distress
  • Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work surfaces after each use
  • Maintain clean organized van by cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking at end of each day
  • Effectively managing time during grooming services
  • Work collaboratively with team to maintain a positive and supportive work environment
  • Promote additional services to clients, such as rebooking, that contribute to business success
  • Participate in events or community programs to build relationships and attract new clients
Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of professional grooming experience
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven track record of grooming various dog breeds, including knowledge of breed specific cuts and styles
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy animals (up to 60 pounds), and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to safely groom pets of all sizes and temperaments including those who may become anxious or difficult to handle
  • Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Experience grooming cats not required but a Plus
  • Experience in mobile grooming is not required but a Plus
  • Valid drivers license (Required)
  • Clean driving record (Required)
