Integrity Urgent Care is looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse or Medical Assistant to join our team. As a healthcare provider that treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch patient care, excellent customer service, and a collaborative work environment. In addition to treating patients, Integrity Urgent Care also offers occupational medicine, workers compensation, behavioral health, virtual primary care, and facility-based primary care. As an LVN or MA at Integrity Urgent Care, you will have the opportunity to help people when they need it most, work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, and continue to learn and grow in your career.
- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient symptoms
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records
- Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care procedures
- This position will be required to be trained in X-Ray
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Proficient computer skills, experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work weekends and/or holidays when needed
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with patients and team members
