Job Summary
Empire Ford Lincoln is searching for a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to maintain and repair cars and light trucks. In this role, the Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and numerous other areas. The Automotive Technician must possess a comprehensive knowledge of automotive parts, principles, and best practices at a professional level.

Responsibilities
-Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups
-Diagnose engine problems, employing computerized diagnostic equipment
-Identify and repair electrical malfunctions
-Install and repair damaged/worn parts related to brakes, transmissions, engines, exhaust systems, and suspension
-Inspect motor engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
-Must adhere to all safety procedures
-Maintain accurate repair records

Requirements
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Ford Experience and ASE certification preferred but not required
-Flexible Availability
-Proficient oral and written communication skills
-Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
-High attention to detail
-Valid Driver’s License
