Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Days Per Week: 5.00

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform or assist in ultrasound examinations, provide technical assistance to Radiologists, and maintain ultrasound equipment. This role involves preparing patients, ensuring safety measures are followed, and capturing high-quality images for diagnosis. The candidate will also assist in training new personnel and ensure the smooth operation of ultrasound procedures.

• Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound exams following established protocols.
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment while ensuring patient and staff safety.
• Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment as needed.
• Ensure an adequate supply of materials for procedures.
• Assist in the orientation and mentoring of new ultrasound personnel.
• Capture and transfer images onto PACS for physician review.
• Answer phones, schedule exams, and initiate transportation as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• At least 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of office practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
