Job DescriptionJob Description
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine glass type, size, thickness, and installation procedures.
Measure and mark dimensions of panels on glass or other substrate material for cutting.
Cutting glass to size and specifications in the workshop and on job site.
Operate hand-held power tools, such as saws, grinders, and polishers, to cut, grind, and smooth edges of glass substrates.
Loading glass, mirrors, windows, or store front onto delivery trucks for transport to job site.
Driving trucks to job sites and unloading materials.
Removal of old, original, and or broken materials.
Operation of installation tools and materials.
Installation and if needed fabrication for new materials.
Installation of tempered glass, laminated glass, mirrors, store front, glass doors, glass openings, window units, shower doors, and glass instalments.
Offering a service to residential and commercial in professional manner.
Offering cut glass to customer for sale at shop.
Offering window units in stock to customer for sale at shop. (Soon to come)
Cleaning the job area once job competed.
Verifying job is done correctly the first time and customer is satisfied.
