As our Carpenter  you will:

  • Be responsible for leading and performing various tasks to aid daily operations at our construction site.
  • Collaborate with some of the hardest-working professionals in the industry and contribute to the overall project success.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Leading the punch list process
  • Be the liaison between superintendent and subcontractors
  • Cleaning and preparing construction sites
  • Responsible for various types of carpentry preparation to include operating hand tools, power tools, operating light equipment, and general clean-up duties
  • Ability read a tape measure
  • Operate machinery following safety guidelines
  • Perform carpentry work as directed by Foreman/Supervisor
  • Ability to use manual and power tools
  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures
  • Digging trenches, compacting, and backfilling trenches/holes
  • Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment
  • Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
  • Assisting skilled tradesmen in their duties
  • Responsible for daily jobsite clean-up
  • Ensure safe work environment
  • Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, and suppliers/vendors
  • Other maintenance duties that arise

Position Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of general labor skills
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in general labor/carpentry 
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment

Physical Requirements:

The physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Position involves sitting for extended periods of time. An employee must be able to communicate effectively in a typical field environment with an above standard level of noise. Occasional standing, bending, walking, and lifting is also required. The employee will be required to visit multiple construction job sites, which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures. In addition, the employee must be able to move around prospective or current project sites. This includes climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, walking long distances, and climbing stairs.
