Position Summary:

- The Tech Assistant has duties of both a Transporter and Receptionist, while also being able to perform X-Rays under supervision of a Registered Radiology Technologist. Receptionist duties include: interacting with patients during registration and check-in/check-out services, providing data entry for billing and coding of claims, monitoring phone traffic and schedules office visits, advising patients of facility policies and services, assisting with reservations and other special requests, and providing administrative support to clinic staff, providers and patients, maintains product inventory and ordering. Transporter duties include: coordinating with doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to take patients from the Radiology department to various locations for X-rays, scans, surgery and other medical tests or procedures, and assisting patients in and out of vehicles and escorts or transports them to and from hospital lobby

Education Requirements:

- Must be in a Radiology Program.

Experience Requirements:

- One year experience in dealing with customer service and Radiology preferred.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

- BLS Certification recommended.
