Job Description:Allegiance Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Knitting Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate knitting machines within quality and productivity guidelines, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.Responsibilities:
  • Operate knitting machines, adhering to quality and productivity standards.
  • Use vision and dexterity to manipulate materials and machinery at the expected rate.
  • Remain standing for extended periods and safely doff knit rolls.
  • Start machines, observe operations to detect malfunctions and defects, and minimize defects and quality losses by stopping machines as needed.
  • Mount, position, or place yarn in the creel and through guides to the knitting machine.
  • Doff rolls and transport them to greige inspection.
  • Maintain housekeeping on and around knitting machines, creels, and aisles.
  • Perform other duties such as inspection, blow down, waste handling, and yarn pack stripping as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to use vision and hands to manipulate materials and machinery.
  • Capable of standing for long periods.
  • Attention to detail to detect and minimize defects and quality losses.
  • Basic understanding of knitting machine operations and maintenance.
  • Strong work ethic and reliabilit
