Shift: 1st shift

Location: Walker, MI

Pay: $25-$28/hour

Journeyman card isn't required


Job Overview-

• Must understand schematics

• Know how to wire panels

• Are able to troubleshoot machine wiring

• Take pride in knowing they are building the highest quality custom material handling equipment


Job Duties-

• Assemble panels and equipment according to approved design and customer specs

• Effectively and safely troubleshoot panels and machine hardwiring

• Wiring PLCs

• Participate in project support during equipment installation and upgrade activities

• Provide troubleshoot support for equipment controls


Skills & Experience-

• Basic computer skills

• Intermediate level of knowledge of Schematic interpretation

• Solid mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality

• Prefer solid 1+ year experience as a Controls Technician or Electrician

• Experience can include electrical work within construction, residential, commercial or manuf

• Minimum education of HS diploma or GED, related vocational education preferred

• Knowledge of hand tools related to the job


Other Job Requirements-

• Able to travel as needed, up to 25%, mostly domestic travel; possible international travel.

• Ability to maintain a steady pace while kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, and climbing onto and beneath machines.

• Lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work unusual, sometimes long hours, while traveling and onsite at customer’s locations to installation equipment.

• Ability to perform work successfully, both independently and with department co-workers.

• Typical manufacturing daily operations, when not traveling, are daytime/1st shift hours.
