Zing Recruiting, in partnership with an established fragrance manufacturer in the NY/NJ area, is on the search for a sharp Fragrance Lab Tech to join their team This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to grow within the industry. The candidate in this position should have experience working within a compounding or lab environment.
Pay rate: $23-26/hr
Location: Training will take place in Teterboro, NJ for 1-2 weeks. The role will then move to their NYC fragrance center
Fragrance Lab Tech Duties:
  • Routine fragrance incorporation in various product forms (personal care, fine fragrance, home care and household products) for internal and external evaluations.
  • Perform compounding.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in stocking and ordering supplies and organizing bases in lab.
  • Conduct specific tests such as pH and viscosity.
  • Fulfill sample requests in a timely manner.
  • Conduct general quality control tests & create paperwork.
  • Assist perfumery staff with general compounding and applications duties.
  • Provide assistance to the Applications lab if necessary.
Fragrance Lab Tech Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior lab experience within the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be computer proficient, including database, PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheet applications.
