API Inspector

We are seeking an API Inspector with 653 certification for a full-time position in Corpus Christi, TX. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. API 653 Inspection and ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. Non-exempt role; Reports to a Level 2 Inspector; Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have valid drivers license
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• API 653 Certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place

Functional Requirements:

• Assists in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code.
• Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up.
• Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment.
• Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards.
• Assist in performing other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector/technician.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
