Technique, Inc. is currently looking for a 3D laser technician with the ability to make fast and accurate decisions relating to the production process and advanced multi-axis laser cutting equipment used in this highly skilled technical position. A good understanding of materials, tolerances and 6-axis laser cutting techniques is required.

Available Shifts:

Multiple shifts available:
Monday-Friday – 7:00am-3:30pm
Monday-Thursday – 3:30pm-2:00am ($1.00 per hour shift premium)
Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 5:00am-5:30pm ($2.00 per hour shift premium)
Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 5:00am-5:30pm ($2.00 per hour shift premium)

Job Responsibilities
 
  • Understanding of materials, tolerances and 6-axis laser cutting techniques
  • Knowledge of TRUMPF and BLM LT-Free lasers.
  • Ability to understand and learn blueprints.
  • Loading parts in machine
  • Powering up/shutting down machine.
  • Basic welding
  • Opening and understanding related software

Required:

Vocational training (STEM Program, Career Center or Technical Trades Training).
Some college.
2-3 years of manufacturing experience.
