Food Server

We need someone with a positive attitude toward customer service and a warm smile to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests at the restaurant by ensuring they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served on time, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. $4.25 - $4.75 hourly

• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations
• Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
• Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
• Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions

• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and consent to a background check
• Must have the availability to work a mixture of breakfast and dinner shifts
