We are part of a privately-owned business molding thermoplastic parts for automotive, consumer products, fluid handling and medical industries. Our team in Leola helps ensure that we deliver exceptional products and services to our customers. We offer a friendly shop environment focused on safety, quality, excellent customer service and on-time delivery. We are seeking a hands-on Injection Molding Supervisor who is eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. This position will direct the daily activities of a small team of Production Associates. He/she must be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills along with a strong, reliable work ethic. This facility runs 24 hours per day, 5 days per week and we have an immediate need on 2nd shift. If you are tired of sitting on the sidelines and want to make a difference, this might be the place for you. Only candidates with injection molding experience will be considered for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the 2nd shift production team and determine/assign duties for Production Associates

Ability to set-up, start-up, shutdown and troubleshoot injection molding machinery

Monitor machine pressure, temperature, speed, cycle time and scrap rate

Maintain documents such as production cards, shift report, process logs, etc.

Ability to interact with QC Inspectors in resolving quality issues

Follows production schedule and adheres to assigned daily priorities

Problem solving and continuous improvement activities

Ability to train and mentor Production Associates

Provides coverage to other shifts due to absence or vacation

Follows all safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures

Performs other related duties as assigned


POSTIONS REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 2 years performing in role as Process Lead or Process Technician

Working knowledge of injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment

Advanced Molding Experience (Paulson, AIM or RJG)

Verifiable plastics coursework at a technical school or college

Reliability, Strong Work Ethic

Ability to work between 2:15pm and 11:15pm, Monday thru Friday
