Pay Range: $28.50/hr

Why You Matter:

As a Field Service Technician at Lantech, you are an important part of the Service team who supports our end users with the installation, startup, and troubleshooting and repairing of their Lantech equipment. You are the face of Lantech to most of our customers and your work helps them supply their products safely to their customers all over the world.

Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:

As Field Service Technician at Lantech you will:

  • Support our customers across the United States.
  • Start-up of new equipment, customer training in operation and maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
  • Coordinate information between the customer and Lantech to correct any equipment difficulties in the field.
  • When you are not traveling, office responsibilities may include quality control of equipment prior to shipment, and technical phone support.

Schedule: Up to 75% Travel. Up to a 6-month training program in Louisville, KY.

What are We Looking For? (Requirements)

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Is a self-starter and comfortable working with people in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Displays proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Is team-oriented and possesses a strong commitment to quality.
  • Is experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems in industrial equipment.
  • Has experience with PLC logic development and trouble-shooting.
  • Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Education & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in field service or equipment maintenance in a related industry.
  • Proven experience in reading mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics preferred.
  • Proven experience working with packaging equipment is strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred technical schooling in electricity, electronics, or equipment maintenance for at least two years.
