We are looking for an Engineering Estimator to join our team in our Loveland, CO office. JFT will accept resumes until this position is filled.

Job Function:

To generate complete, accurate and auditable estimates for both build to print and design build projects. This includes reading customer supplied documentation, interfacing with suppliers, generating organized data and accurately estimating both labor and materials for upcoming projects. Writing content for proposals including work planning, assumptions, and exceptions to provided documentation.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Read, understand and translate customer bid documentation into requirements, deliverables and a conforming proposal.
• Create project bill of materials from customer provided documentation.
• Create auditable cost estimates for manufacturing projects during bid phase.
• Performing accurate material take offs and receive material quotes.
• Generate work breakdown structure for project schedule.
• Consulting with the shop foreman, engineers, and contractors to determine costs for various materials and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD Inventor.
• Experience with MS Project is a plus.
• This position may require the incumbent to work with export controlled items.
• US work authorization is required.
