Warehouse Assistant to Plumbing Apprentice

Swan is currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to Plumbing Apprentice that is responsible, organized, and detail oriented. The primary duties of a Warehouse Assistant include the following: operating a forklift or picker machine, conducting precise physical inventory counts, order material, picking up/delivering material, maintaining damages and quality control, assist with receiving new inventory, overall cleanliness of the warehouse, as well as fleet management. This position will learn plumbing and eventually transition into a Plumbing Apprentice.

*This is a full-time position, which offers benefits after 60 days of employment. Starting pay range is $19-$22 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Physical Demands:


  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, or crawl
  • Occasionally required to sit or balance
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
  • Moderate exposure to physical risk
  • Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50+ lbs. without accommodation

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience required
  • Experience developing and mentoring peers
  • Understanding and experience with inventory management
  • RFI scanner experience preferred
  • Forklift and picker machine experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
