The Provider Recruitment plays a critical role in attracting, identifying, & recruiting qualified psychiatrists and mid-level providers to join River Region Psychiatry Associates; and shepherding provider candidates through all phases of the recruitment/hiring/onboarding journey. This position is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies, building relationships with potential candidates, coordinating with potential candidates and internal teams to facilitate the onboarding process, and collaborating with internal teams and vendor hospitals to fulfill staffing needs.

  1. Recruitment Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies and plans to meet the organization's staffing needs for psychiatrists and mid-level providers.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, clinical teams, and vendor hospitals to understand staffing requirements and priorities.
  1. Candidate Sourcing and Engagement:
  • Identify, source, and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing information about opportunities, benefits, and organizational culture.
  1. Selection and Hiring Process:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial screening and interviews to offer negotiations and onboarding.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers, clinical teams, and vendor hospitals to facilitate interview scheduling, candidate assessments, and selection decisions.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Partner with internal departments, including human resources, legal, and finance, to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and hiring practices.
  • Collaborate with vendor hospitals and external partners to align recruitment efforts, share candidate profiles, and support mutual staffing needs.
  1. Provider Onboarding Coordination:
  • Serve as a single point of contact for new provider candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding journey (from initial contract/offer letter execution through official RRPA start date).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with key team members of each department that supports the provider onboarding journey (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Credentialing, Operations, etc.) to facilitate timely completion of onboarding requirements with the new provider candidate.
  • Directly assist new provider candidates in navigating and completing each step of the onboarding process.
  1. Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, recruitment metrics, and hiring data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or HRIS.
  • Generate regular reports, analytics, and insights to inform recruitment strategies, assess effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Employer Branding and Outreach:
  • Represent the organization at recruitment events, job fairs, and industry conferences to promote River Region Psychiatry Associates as an employer of choice.
  • Develop and execute employer branding initiatives, marketing campaigns, and outreach efforts to attract top talent in the mental health field.


Requirements:

High School Diploma or its equivalent required

Minimum of 12 months experience working on a talent acquisition team within an organization.

  • Strong experience with provider recruiting
  • Strong understanding of mental health industry, healthcare regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in the usage of Microsoft Programs, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), and HRIS platforms.
