Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, testing, and implementing mechanical systems and components to meet our company's needs for product development and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for [describe specific applications, products, or projects].
  • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
  • Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to bring products from concept to production.
  • Conduct testing and validation of prototypes and final products to verify performance and reliability.
  • Evaluate and improve existing mechanical designs and processes to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements in all design and development activities.
  • Provide technical support to resolve mechanical issues during manufacturing, assembly, and product testing phases.
  • Document design processes, specifications, and test results in engineering reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in mechanical engineering, preferably in [specific industry or sector].
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering analysis tools.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
