            *****Must have experience with sit-down electric forklift & able to work Monday - Friday Day shift hours*****
                               
Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload all inbound and outbound trailers – Signature required on outbound Bill of Lading (BOL).
  • Secure loads before transportation to include shrink wrapping pallets, use of load restraints and air pillows.
  • Transport products to/from different locations within the facility.
  • Clean inside of trailers
  • Replace propane tanks and/or plug in forklifts to charge as needed.
  • Use FlexXray’s yard mule to move unattended trailers around, as required after being trained. 
  • Proactively advise supervisor of forklift and yard mule maintenance issues.
  • Completion of Forklift Inspection Sheet and weekly duty checklists.
  • Responsible for proper pallet handling, storage, and care.
  • Responsible for ensuring lines have proper product in order to run.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Identify and report workplace safety hazards.
  • Report up the chain of command on any issues within the shipping and receiving process.
  • Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequirements:
  • Must be able to pass forklift operation test.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must have a sense of urgency.
  • Must be able to comply with attendance policy.
  • Flexibility to work overtime based on business needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
Physical Requirements: 
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, grab, pull, push, reach, walk and sit. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
