Role Description

We are currently looking for a Pharmacist at Newtown Square Apothecary LLC. The Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing inventory, providing patient care, and collaborating with the healthcare team. This role requires working onsite in Newton Square, PA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Dispensing prescribed medications in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations;
  • Providing direction related to quality, clinical and compliance for Apotheco operations initiatives in compliance with state and federal laws
  • Providing consultation and other pharmacy services to patients
  • Providing supervision of Apotheco’ s support staff; and
  • All other functions reasonably assigned to you that are consistent with your title.

Education/Experience:

Have earned a BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited pharmacy school.

License/Certification:

Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Must have excellent customer service skills and be detailed oriented.
  • Familiar with clinical program components, formulary designs, prescription benefit trends, and PA programs

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Window, Word, Outlook, and Excel

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.
