Description:

The Bakery Merchandiser is responsible for executing the vision of the Director in each Bakery Department at Plum Market. They will model and provide exceptional Customer Service, and deliver quality feedback and support to all Bakery teams. They report to the Director and will assist in the department performing all tasks as needed.

You have two years of Retail Bakery experience, preferably as Department Manager or Buyer

What you will bring:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as a detail-oriented and efficient person.

Ability to delegate and reach out for help or guidance.

Ability to train Team Members on Plum Market Customer Service and Bakery standards.

Able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Able to travel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Able to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break – we work on the floor, and alongside our team.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

What you will do:

Give exceptional Service to our Customers.

Create displays, audit and re-merchandize the Bakery Department based on direction from the Director.

Data entry of products, descriptions and pricing.

Execute tasks defined by Director,

Teach Team Members on the wide variety of selections we provide and offer merchandising suggestions

Follow up & Communicate effectively with all Team Members, Store Operations, and Director Group

Help other Team Members in the department learn and grow

Communicate effectively with Customers, Team Members, Store Leadership and Director.
