Position Overview:


We are seeking a visionary and results-driven individual to lead our strategic pricing initiatives as the Director of Strategic Pricing. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that drive profitable growth and market leadership across our product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in pharmaceutical pricing, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive business success.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive pricing strategies for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead a team of pricing analysts and specialists in conducting rigorous pricing analyses, market research, and financial modeling to inform pricing decisions and optimize revenue potential.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, finance, market access, and regulatory affairs, to integrate pricing strategies into overall business plans and ensure alignment with commercialization efforts.
  4. Provide strategic guidance and insights to senior management based on thorough assessments of pricing trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics, highlighting opportunities and risks to inform decision-making.
  5. Partner with market access and reimbursement teams to assess payer dynamics, reimbursement trends, and value proposition, and develop pricing strategies that maximize market access and optimize product positioning.
  6. Lead pricing negotiations with key stakeholders, including government agencies, payers, and strategic partners, to achieve favorable pricing outcomes and enhance product profitability.
  7. Drive the development and enhancement of pricing analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to monitor pricing performance, track key metrics, and support data-driven decision-making.
  8. Stay abreast of industry trends, pricing regulations, and emerging best practices to ensure compliance and maintain competitive advantage in the marketplace.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of X years of progressive experience in pricing, market access, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with at least X years in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep expertise in pharmaceutical pricing dynamics, including payer landscape, reimbursement mechanisms, and pricing regulations.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic pricing initiatives, delivering measurable business results, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, anticipate market trends, and develop innovative pricing strategies that drive competitive advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
