About the role

This is an entry level position into Mortgage Lending. Works directly with mortgage loan officer to meet client needs. This role is essential to the smooth operations of our Mortgage Lending team and has both client interaction as well as back-office work. Helps to collect and review documentation from customer. Help to keep mortgage loan files are organized and prepared for customers closing.

This role does not take applications or conduct business as an MLO.

Position is located in Pierre and is not a remote position.

What you will do

  • Reviews customers application and documents are accurate and complete
  • Ensures proper points of contacts in the file
  • Works with 3rd parties to collect information on the file
  • Responsible for timely communication between all interested parties
  • Assists Mortgage loan officers on day-to-day tasks
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need

  • Preference given to candidates with administrative assistant background or with mortgage experience.
  • Associates degree or related experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organization skills required to succeed in this role.
  • Working knowledge of DocuSign or ability to learn computer programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Word.
