Loan Processor

We are seeking candidates for a Loan Processor position. Primary position responsibilities include:

• Ability to understand, apply, and verify compliance with bank regulations
• Review and verify accuracy of all types of loan documents and packages (including Secondary Market Loans)
• Obtain necessary information (i.e., loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc.) from the Loan Sales team to process and complete all loan files
• Conduct funds disbursement activities, including loans disbursal and cashier checks
• Facilitate between the bank and external entities to ensure that all necessary information is complete
• Review and verify accuracy of payment processing, and generate notices and reports
• Perform routine administrative tasks in support of the deposit & loan departments

Position Requirements

• 2 or more years in loans or operations including experience with debits and credits, and familiarity with accounting/bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, and banking mainframe systems
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking products, services, and programs, regulations, and operational procedures related to lending; particularly Reg Z, RESPA and Truth in Lending; basic knowledge of Truth in Savings
• Proficient in 5th/3rd and Client Link
• High school degree or GED equivalent required; Associates Degree or college coursework equivalent preferred
