Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Camera and Alarm Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and configuring surveillance camera systems and alarm systems in residential and commercial settings. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their security needs, installing the necessary equipment, and ensuring its proper functionality. Attention to detail, technical proficiency, and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pmPay: $16-$19 Depending on experience
Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain surveillance camera systems and alarm systems according to client specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct site surveys to assess security requirements and recommend suitable equipment and installation locations.
• Mount cameras, sensors, and control panels securely and in accordance with blueprints and installation diagrams.
• Program and configure surveillance camera systems and alarm systems, including setting up recording devices, motion detection, and remote access.
• Test installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Provide comprehensive training to clients on how to operate and maintain their security systems.
• Respond promptly to service calls and requests for system repairs or upgrades.
• Document all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on job sites to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of installations and projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a camera and alarm installer or a similar role in the security industry.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring surveillance camera systems, alarm systems, and related equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, networking principles, and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with various types of security cameras, sensors, and access control systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
